The Burman River is one of the most scenic rivers on Vancouver Island, and is certainly worth the pleasant trip required to fish its waters.

The Burman is a wilderness river that is only accessible by boat from the Gold River boat dock at the head of the Muchalat Inlet.

The Burman has summer steelhead runs in June and July and winter steelhead from February to March. Fall sees chinook and coho salmon.
